Coverage Needed
- Start Date: 03/01/2026
- Schedule: 4 or 5 days per week, 8:30a-4:30p, admin day or 1/2 day if needed
- Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend a month
- Call Schedule: 7 days of call including one weekend, 1 in 4 rotation
- Minimum 2 weeks a month
Clinical Details
- EMR: EPIC
- Setting: Outpatient - Free standing cancer center
- Number of Physicians in Practice: 3
- Trauma Level: 3
- Percentage of Practice: 20% hematology, 80% oncology
- Most benign heme is referred out as facility is focusing on getting new solid tumor diagnosis seen timely (within 1 week of referral)
- Radiation Oncologists Present
- Support Staff: 2 APPs
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - Outpatient: 10-15
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - Hospital: Only when patients are admitted for inpatient chemo
Requirements
- Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology
- Active OR license - Preferred
- willing to accept providers needing to obtain license
- Clean background/no malpractice - Highly Preferred
- DEA
- Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month)
