Position Details:
Located in Abingdon, VA - Richlands 45m ; Roanoke 134m
Full-time, permanent position
Currently seeking a BE/BC Hem/Onc Physician to join an established, stable group.
Candidate will join a wonderful medical community with supportive administration.
Radiation Oncology onsite with TruBeam & SBRT capabilities.
There are an active navigation programs, American Cancer Society Resource Room and partnership with non-profits such as Susan G. Komen, Cancer Outreach etc.
A robust and aligned local medical community support this service
Physician will join 2 additional Hem/Onc Physicians and APPs.
The APPs manage infusion services and see acute & symptomatic patients and work under the direct supervision of the physician group.
There is a large, diverse support staff of APPs, RNs, dietary, navigators, schedulers, pre-cert and financial team.
Practice includes a full-service infusion room and a typical out-patient oncology practice.
Pharmacy is managed by hospital-based team, which includes an oncology boarded pharmacist on staff.
Support from specialists to include: Rad Onc, Surgery, Pulm, GI, Urology, OB/GYN, Pathology, Radiology (including IR).
There is also a strong primary care cohort with IM and FM residents training
