Schedule & Coverage:
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday (most likely)
- Shifts per Month: 16
- Shift Length: 8 hours
- Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Patient Contact Hours: Variable
- On Call: Potentially one week and one weekend per month. Phone calls only.
Practice Details:
- Setting: Primarily outpatient clinic with minimal inpatient consults
- Hospitalists admit all patients; provider fields consult calls
- Daily Clinic Volume: 16–20 patients
- Average Daily Hospital Census: 0–2
- Appointment Length:
- Follow-ups: 15–20 minutes
- Consults: 60 minutes (adjustable per provider preference)
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
- Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 2
- Nursing Support Ratio: 2 nurses per 1 provider, along with referral and triage nurses
- Ancillary Staff per provider: Reception, lab, social worker, referrals, dietician
- Services offered in the practice: Antineoplastics, phlebotomies, IV IgG, iron therapy, bone marrow biopsies.
- Number of exam room: 4

- Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
- Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 16-20

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology – Required
- Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology – Required
- Active Iowa License/Active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear) – Required
- Must be available full-time (Mon–Thurs) – Required
- Must be able to perform MUA – Required
