Locums - Marion, Ohio, Hematology/Oncology Job (IMLC Accepted)

RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified Oncologist for a locums opportunity in Marion, Ohio. This is a strong fit for providers looking for structured clinic coverage with call responsibilities and excellent clinical support.

• Start Date: February 23, 2026

• Coverage Need: Approximately 1 day per month

• Clinic Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays – 8:00am–4:00pm

• Weeknight Call: 4:00pm–8:00am

• Daytime Hospital Call: 8:00am–4:00pm plus evening call

• Weekend Call: 1 weekend per month

  • Begins Friday 4:00pm

  • Ends Monday 8:00am

• Setting: Hospital-based Hematology/Oncology Clinic

• Patient Volume: 18–20 patients per day

• Patient Population: Adults (18+)

• EMR: EPIC

• Support Staff: 1 APP, 1 RN, 1 MA

• No hospital admissions required

• Provide outpatient hematology/oncology clinic coverage

• Round on assigned inpatients in the morning as needed

• Complete consult notes by end of day

• Sign outpatient notes by EOD or the following day

• Participate in on-call rotation and provide appropriate handoff

• Monitor and clear EPIC In Basket daily

• Place own orders (nursing support available if needed)

• Do not override ABN warnings

• Board Certification in Oncology – Required

• Active Ohio License or IMLC LOQ

• DEA Required

• Minimum 1 year experience
