Locum Physician – Hematology/Oncology – Beckley, WV
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
Location: Beckley, WV
Shift: Day, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Mon–Fri
Start Date: 05/01/2026
Duration: 13 weeks (1-year contract)
Position Details:
- Clinic coverage M–F, 8–4:30, with inpatient call every 3rd week
- Patients per day: ~15 adults
- Support staff: Nurses, CMA, APPs
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic and Hospital
- EMR: Cerner
- Special procedures: Bone marrow biopsy
Requirements:
- Board Certified Hematology/Oncology
- Oncology Fellowship
- WV State License required (temporary license available if clean background)
- DEA required
- ACLS & BLS required
- Minimum experience: 3–5 years
- Clean background required; pre-application required immediately upon offer (attach with submission)
Coverage:
- Full-time, minimum 3 weeks/month to be considered
- Inpatient call rotation: 1 in 3 weeks
