Locums - Marion, Ohio, Hematology/Oncology Job (IMLC Accepted)

A Hematology/Oncology locum tenens opportunity is available in Marion, Ohio, offering clinic-focused coverage with call responsibilities in a supportive practice environment.

• Start Date: ASAP (Current start date: 2/16/26)

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based Hematology/Oncology Clinic

• IMLC Accepted

• Clinic Coverage:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays

  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Weeknight Call:

  • 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.

• Daytime Coverage:

  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with hospital call coverage during the day and evening

• Weekend Call:

  • 1 weekend per month

  • Covers Marion and Grady

  • Friday 4:00 p.m. – Monday 8:00 a.m.

• Patients per Day: 18–20

• Coverage Needed: 1 day per month

• Patient Population: Adults 18+

• 1 APP

• 1 RN

• 1 MA

• Hematology/Oncology clinic coverage

• Check and empty EPIC In Basket daily (attached to prior locums)

• Place own orders (nursing support available if needed)

  • Do not override ABN warnings

• Sign outpatient notes by end of day or end of following day

• Provide handoff to next provider in call rotation

• Take after-hours call coverage when scheduled

• Round on assigned inpatients in the morning as needed

• Complete consult notes by end of day

• Epic

• No hospitalist attention required

• Board Certified in Oncology – Required

• Active Ohio License or IMLC LOQ – Required

• DEA – Required

• Minimum Experience: 1 year
