Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide medical hematology and oncology coverage for 4-5 days per week.
• Inpatient coverage at both MercyOne Des Moines and MercyOne West Des Moines.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop new and ongoing treatment plans.
• Manage chemotherapy and pain management protocols.
• Participate in telehealth services as needed.
• Ensure a high standard of care in compliance with medical regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical imaging teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology [REQUIRED]
• Fellowship trained in Hematology & Oncology [REQUIRED]
• Active IA License or Active IMLC [REQUIRED]
• Minimum experience level required [REQUIRED]
• Must be willing to work at both MercyOne Des Moines and MercyOne West Des Moines [REQUIRED]
• Clean malpractice and background history [REQUIRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Iowa medical license or active IMLC.
• Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
• Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.
