Overview:
We are seeking a locum Hematologist/Oncologist to provide coverage for a busy medical practice. This role offers a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth responsibilities.
Schedule & Clinical Coverage

Hematology/Oncology coverage: 4–5 days per week

Patient Contact Hours: 6

Clinic Days: 8

Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

On Call: Yes (schedule TBD)
Job Responsibilities
Inpatient coverage at multiple sites
Outreach: Potential additional locations (~6 days per month)
Telehealth: Yes
Daily Clinic Volume: 10–30 patients
Average Daily Inpatient Census: 10–15
Appointment Length:
New consults: 40 minutes
Follow-ups: 20 minutes

Patient assessments and treatment planning
Therapy modifications and ongoing treatment plans

(Radiation and surgical oncology managed by existing providers)
Qualifications
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology
Active state medical license or active IMLC
Experienced provider
Willingness to work at multiple sites as assigned
Clean malpractice and background (NPDB Self-Query required at presentation)
