The Oncology Institute (TOI) is a patient-centered, community-based Hematology Oncology Group with over 90 clinics across Florida, Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon.

We are expanding into the Orlando, Florida, market with the opening of a new clinic and are seeking a Hematology Oncology Physician to join us during this exciting growth phase. This role offers the opportunity to help shape a new clinic while benefiting from the infrastructure, stability, and support of an established organization.

You’ll practice within a collaborative care model supported by long-standing referral relationships, operational expertise, and a leadership team invested in physician success and long-term growth.

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • New clinic energy backed by an established, well-supported organization
  • Strong referral partnerships that drive consistent patient volumes
  • Robust administrative and operational support—no need to build from scratch
  • Physician-led culture emphasizing teamwork, autonomy, and sustainability

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped productivity-based incentives
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including:
    • Health, dental, and vision insurance
    • 401(k) with employer contribution
    • Paid time off and paid holidays
    • CME allowance and paid CME time
    • Malpractice coverage
  • Clear, transparent bonus structure with realistic performance targets supported by established patient demand

Growth & Career Pathways:

This role is ideal for physicians who want more than a static position. Growth opportunities may include:

  • Participation in clinic development and expansion
  • Leadership pathways (Medical Director, Lead Physician, or Program Development roles)
  • Mentorship and involvement in clinical quality initiatives
  • Long-term opportunities for clinical trials access as the Orlando footprint expands

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and partner organizations
  • Contribute to building clinical culture and workflows in a new clinic
  • Participate in care coordination to ensure excellent patient outcomes
  • Support a practice environment focused on quality, efficiency, and collaboration

What We’re Looking For:

  • MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology
  • Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Interest in practicing within a growing, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to collaborative care
  • Desire for long-term professional growth within an established organization

Why Orlando?

  • Year-round sunshine and access to world-class dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation
  • Excellent neighborhoods and school options
  • No state income tax
  • Easy access to beaches, lakes, and major travel hubs
