We are seeking an experienced Hematology and Medical Oncology Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage during a recruitment gap. This locum opportunity offers a focused schedule, strong multidisciplinary support, and the chance to care for oncology and hematology patients in a well-established outpatient setting. The role is ideal for physicians who value continuity of care, collaboration, and a predictable weekday schedule.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients undergoing cancer treatment
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Participate in tumor board discussions and multidisciplinary care planning
• Collaborate with nursing, navigation, and support services
• Provide clinic-based call coverage as required
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR system
Qualifications
• Active Michigan medical license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in outpatient oncology and hematology care
• Clean malpractice and license history
• Current NPDB Self-Query report
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
Working Hours
• Day shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Clinic call only
