Schedule: The shift consists of outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. With optional night call and optional weekend 24hr call.

EMR: Cerner
- License: An active Michigan state license or IMLC membership is required
- Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Other Details: This opportunity seeks a Medical Oncology and Hematology physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including clinic call as needed, to support coverage during a recruitment gap. The role involves seeing an average of 15–20 outpatient clinic patients per day in an oncology and hematology practice with strong support from oncology RNs, medical assistants, a social worker, dietitian, nurse navigator, onsite infusion services, and onsite CBCs, within a setting previously supported by two physicians and NP assistance. Responsibilities include providing outpatient hematology and oncology care and participating in tumor board meetings. Candidates must be board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology (truly board eligible will be considered), hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, provide a copy of a current NPDB self-query pulled within 30 days at presentation, and have familiarity with Cerner EMR, which is preferred.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage an average of 15–20 outpatient clinic patients per day
* Cover clinic call as required during scheduled clinic days
* Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings
* Collaborate with advanced practice providers and clinic support staff
* Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using the EMR
Qualifications
* Truly Board Eligible providers will be considered
* Current BLS and ACLS certifications
* NPDB self-query completed within 30 days at time of presentation
* Experience providing outpatient hematology and oncology care
* Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
Working Hours
* Clinic hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Outpatient clinic coverage with clinic call only
* Coverage to support a recruitment gap
