Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: 2026-05-26
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8am-6pm
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only, Full time
Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: 5 RNs, 5 MAs, 2 APPs
- Pre-charting, clinic and additional charting time
- will be responsible to field calls during clinic time which is included in regular hourly responsibilities
- Manage a panel of established patients as well as taking on new patients
- Infusion room is in the same suite
- May be asked about treatment perimeters for patients from the APP's or nurses
- Expected to respond to any reaction that could occur during treatment and manage anything urgent until the rapid response team can get there
- Provider will field questions from patients as well
- Usually daily triage goes to the NP's first then to the physicians
- Physician signs chemotherapy orders and nursing staff administer
- Will more than likely not do bone marrow biopsies
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
- Active Oregon License and DEA
- BLS Certification
