Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: May 2026
- End Date: September 2026
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Half day off during the week (Monday-Thursday)
- Call: Hospital on-call weekend only some week day evenings, call is very light
Clinical Details:
- Trauma Level: 2
- PEDs Level: 2
- Patient Census per Clinic Shift: 15-23
- Night Call Patient Census: 1-2
- Call Type: Beeper with 15mins required response time
- Phone consults: 0-3
- Call ratio: 1:3
- Call Back: 10%
- Procedures: Consults, follow-ups, possible bone marrow
- BMT or BMB to be performed - Preferred
- EMR: Epic
- Support Staff: 5 RNs, 5 MAs, 3 APPs, 5 office staff
- Supervision of APPs required
- Hospitalist admits new patients
- 40% Hematology, 60% Medical Oncology
- Outpatient & Inpatient
- Beds: less than 10
- Rounding Patients: Assigned
- Admissions required
- Duties: Primarily med onc and hem patients
Requirements:
- Board Eligible
- Fellowship Preferred
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS Certifications
- Must have 2 of more weeks of availability
- 4 weeks per month - Preferred
