Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology provider to join our locum team for a malignant hematology-focused practice. This is a great opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment with physician and APP support.
Assignment Details:

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Shift Coverage: All clinic patients and charting completed during shift; overtime only with manager approval

Start Date & Duration: Late April/Early May; minimum 6-month assignment

FTE/Hours: 1 FTE, 40 hours per week, 4 weeks per month

Call: Pager coverage 5 PM – 8 AM Monday–Thursday; fellows on first call; provider serves as second call; no weekend call
Patient & Practice Details:

Patient Population: Leukemia, lymphoma, and malignant hematology (NO bone marrow transplant)

Procedures: APPs perform bone marrow biopsies; no additional procedures required

Volume: 15–20 patients/day (New = 45 mins, Follow-up = 20 mins)

Support Team: 4 MDs, APPs, RNs, and MAs

EMR System: EPIC
Job Responsibilities
Board Certified / Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology
BLS & ACLS
Active PA license and PA DEA (IMLC considered, active license strongly preferred)
Minimum commitment: 2 weeks/month (consecutive or alternating)
Ability to complete hospital privileging within 90–120 days from application (application must be returned within 10 days of receipt)
