Coverage Needed
- Start Date: Late April/Early May 2026
- End Date: At least 6 months
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with 1-hour lunch
- Call: 5 PM - 8 AM, Monday - Thursday, pager call; 2nd call if fellows have questions; No weekend call
Clinical Details
- Specialty: Malignant Hematology
- EMR System: EPIC
- Patients/Procedures: Leukemia/lymphoma & malignant hematology cases
- Will noy see bone marrow transplant patients
- APPs perform all bone marrow biopsies
- 15-20 patients per day
- New visits = 45 minutes, follow-up visits = 20 minutes
- Support Staff: 4 MDs, APPs, RNs, MAs
- Daily Shift Responsibilities: Responsible for treatment plans for new patients and follow up visits
Requirements
- Board Certification in Hematology
- BLS, ACLS, DEA
- Active PA license strongly preferred
- will accept IMLC
- Minimum commitment: 2 weeks/month, consecutive or alternating
