Job description

Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Call coverage 2-3 weekdays per week (one weekday every 9 days) plus weekend call rotation (one weekend every 9 weekends); 24-hour after-hours call with nurse support until 2:00 AM
- Job Setting: Hospital
- Types of Cases: Patient examination and treatment administration, supportive care plans and symptom management, patient monitoring, new patient consults for hematologic and oncologic referrals, patient communication, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, hospital rounds, call coverage, and maintaining medical records; approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
- Credentialing: 60-90 days; case logs with ICD-10 coding required covering 12 months of patient cases
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS required
- Licensure: Oklahoma state license required, will consider IMLC
- Fellowship: Fellowship required
