Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician – Make a Difference in Cancer Care

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide exceptional patient care at our state-of-the-art Cancer Center. In this vital role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment and support to adult patients battling cancer, helping improve outcomes and quality of life. This opportunity offers a rewarding environment where your expertise can truly impact lives.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certification in Hematology or Oncology
  • State medical license (or ability to obtain one, including temporary licenses if eligible)
  • Valid DEA certification
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in hematology and oncology
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
  • Ability to perform specialized procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean background with pre-employment screening

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Oncology Fellowship certification
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient hybrid settings
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and treatment protocols

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Residency and fellowship in hematology/oncology
  • Prior experience working in a hospital-based oncology department

Other Requirements:
  • Must be willing to work full-time, providing at least 3 weeks per month
  • Availability for inpatient call every third week
  • Ability to support a diverse adult patient population aged 18 and up
  • Willingness to obtain licensure, including temporary licensing with a clean background
  • Must support staff collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team environment

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $507.00, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, and generous perks including licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements.
