We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide exceptional patient care at our state-of-the-art Cancer Center. In this vital role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive treatment and support to adult patients battling cancer, helping improve outcomes and quality of life. This opportunity offers a rewarding environment where your expertise can truly impact lives.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Hematology or Oncology
- State medical license (or ability to obtain one, including temporary licenses if eligible)
- Valid DEA certification
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in hematology and oncology
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to perform specialized procedures such as bone marrow biopsies
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean background with pre-employment screening
Nice to Have Skills:
- Oncology Fellowship certification
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient hybrid settings
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and treatment protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Residency and fellowship in hematology/oncology
- Prior experience working in a hospital-based oncology department
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work full-time, providing at least 3 weeks per month
- Availability for inpatient call every third week
- Ability to support a diverse adult patient population aged 18 and up
- Willingness to obtain licensure, including temporary licensing with a clean background
- Must support staff collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team environment
