Aya Locums is seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician offering long-term, ongoing coverage in Eureka, California.
Here are the details:
Start Date: 04/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Schedule Details:
• Full-time coverage: 5 shifts per week, 4 weeks per month
• Call: 1:3
– During call weeks, providers work regular clinic hours and take evening phone call
– Weekends are 24-hour call
– Call is phone-only; no onsite call-back required
• Clinic hours: Patients scheduled 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:30, with a 1-hour lunch break
Work Details:
• Practice setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
• Support staff: Yes
• Patient volume: 12-15 patients per shift
• EMR: Epic
Requirements:
• Board certification: Required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current hospital-based clinical activity in Hematology & Oncology
• Certifications: BLS
• License: Active license preferred; candidates needing licensure considered
Additional Details:
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
