- 8a–5p; Full-time (5 days/week) or Part-time (2–3 days/week)
• Patient Demographics: Adult oncology/hematology patients
• Patient Volume: 13–18 patients per day
• Rounding included: Multidisciplinary inpatient rounds
• Support Staff:
-Nurse navigators
-Social workers
-Pharmacy liaison
-Research coordinators
-Genetic counselors
-Dedicated RN staff
-Anesthesia coverage
• Case Mix: Hematology and medical oncology
• Beds in the Dept: 17-bed inpatient oncology unit
• EMR: Cerner
• Other Info: Multidisciplinary cancer program, rapid diagnosis clinic, weekly tumor boards, access to clinical trials and survivorship services
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• Active CA License
• BC/BE in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
• BLS
• DEA
• NPDB report ( dated within 30 days of the presentation date.)
