Hospital is looking for 1 full time and 1 part time Hematology/Oncology physician to start 3/1 working in their clinic. Conveniently co-located at the Hematology Care Center, our primary outpatient infusion center features 15 private bays arranged around a central nursing hub for optimal patient safety and comfort. If candidate(s) is the right fit they are looking to bring on full time.
Schedule/Availability Requirements:
- Ideal start date pending credentialing: 3/1
- Shift time: 8a-5p
- Shift frequency: Full time position- 5 days per week / Part time position 2-3 days per week
Details:
- Duties: Clinical Excellence: Proved expert hematology and oncology care, utilizing the Center for modern treatment delivery. Partner with navigators and social workers to ensure seamless, supportive patient journey for diagnosis through survivorship.
- Setting: Ambulatory
- FTE: 1.0
Required Procedures/Job Duties:
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Multidisciplinary Team: Access support from nurse navigators, social workers, a pharmacy
- liaison for oral medications, research coordinators, genetic counselors, and 24/7 anesthesia
- coverage. Dedicated RN staff.
- Clinical Infrastructure: 17-bed inpatient oncology unit with daily multidisciplinary rounds, weekly tumor boards, a rapid diagnosis clinic, and two radiation centers.
- Comprehensive Care: Access to the Katz Cancer Resource Center, clinical trials, tele-genetics, survivorship programs, and bereavement support.
- Reason for Coverage: Physicians leaving to start their own practice
- Deal breakers: Must have CA license
