Locum Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician Opportunities in MI!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage during a recruitment gap. This role involves managing oncology and hematology patients in a well-supported outpatient setting, with clinic-only call responsibilities and access to comprehensive onsite services.

Dates / Schedule

• Start Date: January 19, 2026

• End Date: July 31, 2026

• Days Required: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Coverage Type: Outpatient clinic with clinic call only

• Reason for Coverage: Recruitment gap

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient hematology and medical oncology care

• See an average of 15–20 clinic patients per day

• Participate in clinic call coverage as needed

• Participate in tumor board meetings

• Practice in an oncology/hematology outpatient clinic with robust multidisciplinary support

• Collaborate with oncology RNs, medical assistants, social worker, dietitian, and nurse navigator

• Utilize onsite services including an infusion center and onsite CBC testing

• Document patient care using the Cerner EMR system

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology

• Active Michigan medical license

• BLS and ACLS certification

• Ability to provide outpatient oncology and hematology care

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR (preferred)

• Must be local

• NPDB self-query within 30 days at time of presentation

• Availability provided at time of name clear
