🩺 Locum Medical Oncology & Hematology Physician | Pontiac, Michigan 🩺 Outpatient Clinic Coverage

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist / Hematologist to provide outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This locum role fills a recruitment gap and offers the chance to work with a collaborative team in a well-supported oncology practice.

🏥 Practice Setting & Support

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic

• Previously a two-physician practice with NP assistance

• Support staff includes:

  • Oncology RNs

  • Medical Assistants

  • Social Worker

  • Dietitian

  • Nurse Navigator

• Onsite services:

  • Infusion center 💉

  • Onsite CBC lab draws

• EMR: Cerner

⏰ Schedule

• Clinic Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Call: Clinic call only

• Average patients per day: 15–20

🔬 Required Skills / Procedures

• Hematology outpatient care

• Oncology outpatient care

• Participation in tumor board meetings 🩺

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology & Hematology

• Active Michigan medical license

• BLS/ACLS certifications

• Local candidates only – no flights required

• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred

• NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
