Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology

We are excited to announce a locum opportunity for a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician in Pontiac, MI. This vibrant community offers a supportive outpatient clinic environment, featuring a well-equipped facility with an infusion center and a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Join our practice as we work together to provide exceptional outpatient care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient clinic coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Manage an average of 15–20 outpatient clinic patients per day.
• Participate in clinic call and support patient care as needed.
• Engage in tumor board discussions to collaborate on patient treatment plans.
• Work alongside a team that includes Oncology RNs, Medical Assistants, a Social Worker, a Dietitian, and a Nurse Navigator.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology. [REQUIRED]
• Current BLS/ACLS certification. [REQUIRED]
• Active Michigan medical license. [REQUIRED]
• Local candidates preferred; no flight reimbursement.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Copy of the NPDB self-query required at presentation (must be pulled within 30 days). [REQUIRED]

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• Valid and active Michigan medical license.
