Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient medical oncology and hematology services. This is a locums-to-perm opportunity starting immediately, with a possibility of ongoing extension. As part of our team, you will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:50 PM, with full staff support, including dedicated Advanced Practice Providers and a robust electronic medical record system (Epic). Enjoy the chance to work in a facility equipped with 590 hospital beds, delivering top-tier care to a diverse patient population.

Required Skills:
  • Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • Active Minnesota Medical License (IMLC accepted) or ability to obtain
  • DEA certification
  • Proficiency with Medical Oncology and Hematology, including solid tumor coverage
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience working in outpatient oncology clinics
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
  • Experience with oncology treatment protocols
  • BLS certification

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology
  • Prior oncology outpatient practice experience is desirable

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to start by April 6, 2026
  • Willingness to work 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Licensure, certification, and credentialing within 90 days (120 days if licensure is required)
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Travel and licensure-related reimbursements provided where applicable

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $463.13
