🏥 Practice Setting
- Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic
- Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
- Case Mix:
- Hematology: 50%
- Oncology: 50%
- Internal Medicine: 0%
- Average Clinic Volume: ~30 patients/day
- Hospital Call/Rounding: None
- EMR: EPIC
🧑⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities
- Management of VAD/Central Venous Catheters
- Bone Marrow Biopsies
- Participation in Tumor Board 🧠
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplant patients
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and blood bank services
- Prescribe treatments and medications
- Administration of chemotherapy (physician-led with nurse oncologist support) 💉

- BLS Certification
