Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Adult & geriatric patients
Job Responsibilities
Approx. 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology
Primary focus: Lung Cancer
Secondary focus: General/benign hematology (non-specialty patients)
Multispecialty oncology team includes Breast, GI, GU, Neuro, and Lung (separate location)
Patient Volume
Outpatient Clinic:
8–16 patients per day
7–8 hours of scheduled patient appointment time
Hospital Call/Rounding:
Avg census: 22 patients across 2 hospitals
Includes 4–5 new patients
Team & Support
Physicians: 6
APP Support:
Inpatient team: 5 APPs
Outpatient team: 5 APPs (on-site)
Chemotherapy Administration: Nurse oncologist
Facility Details
Trauma Level II
EMR: Epic
Required Procedures
FNA / Biopsy
Required Duties
Participation in Tumor Board
Ordering labs and diagnostic imaging
Prescribing medications
Requirements
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Medical Oncology – Required
Active Michigan license – Highly Preferred
Will review providers needing to obtain MI license
BLS – Required
