• Locum to perm Oncology coverage due to provider loss
• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
• No call required during locum assignment
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
• No call required during locum assignment
• Adult and geriatric patient population
Job Responsibilities
• Manage inpatient consults and rounding as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings
• Manage bone marrow transplant patients
• Oversee blood bank coordination
• Order diagnostic tests and imaging
• Prescribe treatment plans and medications
• Collaborate with nursing staff for chemotherapy administration
Qualifications
• Active South Carolina medical license – REQUIRED
• BLS and DEA – REQUIRED
• Clean background for emergency temporary privileges – REQUIRED
• Current NPDB for presentation – REQUIRED
Working Hours
• Average 25 patients/day (outpatient)
• Average 20 patients/day (inpatient rounding)
• No call during locum period
