๐ฉบ Position Highlights
- Setting: Free-standing Cancer Center (Outpatient & Inpatient Oncology)
- Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
- Case Mix:
- 65% Benign Hematology
- 35% Malignant Oncology
- Patient Volume:
- Outpatient: ~25 patients/day
- Inpatient/Rounding: ~20 patients/day
- Team Structure: 7 Physicians | 6 APPs
- EMR: Epic
๐งช Key Responsibilities
- Manage benign hematology and malignant oncology cases
- Participate in Tumor Board discussions
- Oversee bone marrow transplant management
- Collaborate with blood bank services
- Order and interpret labs and imaging
- Prescribe treatments and coordinate care
- Chemotherapy administered by trained oncology nursing staff
โ Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
- Active or eligible state medical license
- BLS & DEA
- Current NPDB for presentation
