Locum-to-Perm – Medical Oncology - Greenville, South Carolina
Assignment Overview
- ASAP – Ongoing Need
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Practice Setting: Free-Standing Cancer Center
- Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider
- 4-week availability each month with 4 days of availability each week
- Must be able to work for at least 6-month initial contract
- Locum Period: No call required
- Permanent Placement: Call expected
- Call Schedule: 1 week every 6–8 weeks
- Call Ratio: 1 week every 6–8 weeks
- Adult
- Geriatric
- 65% Benign Hematology
- 35% Malignant Oncology
- 0% Internal Medicine
- Physicians: 7
- APPs: 6
- Outpatient: 25 patients per day
- Inpatient (Call/Rounding): 20 patients per day
- Oncology – Outpatient Setting
- Oncology – Inpatient Setting
- Participation on Tumor Board
- Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
- Blood Bank involvement
- Order tests and imaging
- Prescribing responsibilities
- Chemotherapy Administration: Nurse Oncologist
- EMR: EPIC
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology – Required
- Active South Carolina license (will accept providers needing to obtain) – Required
- BLS & DEA – Required
- Clean background required for emergency temps – Required
