Locums Hematology/Oncology | Yakima, Washington IMLC Welcome
A hospital-based cancer program in Yakima, Washington is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for locum tenens coverage. This is a weekday outpatient-focused role with phone-only call and strong ancillary support.
Assignment Details ASAP start Ongoing coverage
Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Infusion suite operates 7 days per week
Practice Setting Hospital-based oncology program Hospital is Stroke Certified Assigned and unassigned patient coverage Comprehensive services including radiation therapy, lymphedema care, pharmacy, lab, medical oncology, and infusion suite
Call Responsibilities Phone-only call coverage Must respond within 30 minutes Approximately 15–20 call patients seen Hospitalists handle the majority of calls No requirement to physically come onsite for call
Requirements Board Certified – Required Active Washington medical license – Required IMLC welcome Hematology/Oncology fellowship preferred BLS – Required
