The Georgia Cancer Center and the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University (MCG) invite applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level in Medical Oncology with a focus on solid tumors.

The successful candidate will build and lead a robust clinical practice within the Georgia Cancer Center, working collaboratively with Surgical Oncology and Radiation Oncology colleagues through multidisciplinary tumor clinics. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing academic oncology program with strong institutional support for clinical excellence, research, and education.

Clinical research is supported through the Georgia Cancer Center’s translational research infrastructure, NCORP grant funding, investigator-initiated trials, and participation in national cooperative group studies. Faculty are strongly encouraged to collaborate with both basic science and clinical investigators to develop innovative, state-of-the-art research programs.

Compensation & Resources

A competitive salary and startup resources will be offered, commensurate with experience and academic rank. The compensation package includes an incentive plan that rewards clinical productivity and/or research funding success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology/Oncology

  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in developing a comprehensive academic solid tumor program

  • Ability to provide official academic transcripts upon selection

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior academic medical oncology experience

  • Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration
