- Setting: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic
- Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
- Patient Volume: ~30 patients per day
- Clinical Focus:
- 50% Hematology
- 50% Oncology
- EMR: Epic
🩺 Scope of Practice
- Management of venous access devices and central lines
- Bone marrow biopsies
- Oversight and management of bone marrow transplant care
- Chemotherapy ordering and administration (physician- and nurse-led)
- Blood bank coordination
- Ordering and interpretation of labs and imaging
- Active participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards
🤝 Requirements :
- Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician
- Active state medical license
- BLS certification
