- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. Dates are available throughout 2026 with a need for full coverage five days per week, which may include some weekend call. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 24-hour weekend call, and there will also be some shared weekday call with employed providers; call primarily involves RN questions related to patient inquiries, same-day chemotherapy patients, and minimal emergency department consults. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and can expect an average patient volume of 17 per day, supported by one medical assistant, several registered nurses, dedicated pharmacists who provide chemotherapy education, and an 18-bed chemotherapy suite. The practice utilizes the Mosaiq EMR, is housed alongside radiation oncology, holds weekly tumor boards, is a COC-accredited cancer center, and offers access to clinical trials, including Phase II and Phase III studies.

Job Responsibilities
* Participate in shared weekday call and 24-hour weekend call coverage
* Respond to RN inquiries regarding patient questions, same-day chemotherapy patients, and limited emergency department consults
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pharmacists and radiation oncology
* Participate in weekly tumor boards and support clinical trial activities
Qualifications
* Ability to manage chemotherapy-related patient care and consults
* Comfortable working within an accredited cancer care environment
* Experience with or willingness to learn the Mosaiq EMR
Working Hours
* Monday through Friday clinic hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
* Shared weekday call with employed providers
* 24-hour weekend call may be required
