Seeking an Outpatient Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum-to-permanent opportunity to support a new service line. The assignment is scheduled to begin in March 2026 and will run through March 2027, providing full-time outpatient oncology and hematology care to adult and geriatric patients.

No inpatient call or hospital rounding responsibilities

Adult and geriatric patient population

Case mix: 50% Hematology / 50% Oncology

Average of 30 outpatient patients per day

Epic EMR

Estimated credentialing timeframe:

60 days with active Indiana license
-
90 days without Indiana license
-
Clinical Responsibilities
-
Outpatient oncology and hematology care
-
Management of vascular access devices and central venous catheters
-
Bone marrow biopsies
-
Participation in tumor board meetings
-
Management of bone marrow transplant patients
-
Ordering labs, imaging, and blood bank services
-
Prescribing medications
-
Chemotherapy administration (physician- and nurse-administered)
Required Qualifications

Board Certified (AMBS or AOA certification in one specialty with demonstrated competency in the other)

Active Indiana medical license

BLS certification
-
Availability for locum-to-permanent conversion

Must meet all submission and credentialing requirements
