Join a long-standing, community-based cancer center serving Northern California in partnership with a leading university cancer institute. This established program offers comprehensive cancer care with a strong research infrastructure and a collegial, family-like atmosphere. The center boasts two dedicated clinical research coordinators, a high-performing infusion team, and a leadership group deeply committed to physician support and patient care excellence. Position Highlights
- General Hematology/Oncology
- Schedule: 4 clinical days + 1 admin day
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Call: 1:4-1:5, mostly phone-based
- Volume: 14-16 patients per day (60- and 30-minute appointments)
- Support Team: 2 HEM/ONC, 1 NP, 2 RAD ONC's, full-time infusion nurses, and research staff
- Growing to a Team of 4 HEM ONC's
- Research Program: 11 active trials with a goal of 22 accruals annually (Breast, GI, GU, Head & Neck, Hem, Lung)
- Technology: Transitioning from Cerner to Epic (Sept 2026); Abridge AI and Dragon dictation in use
- Environment: Highly collaborative, team-oriented group with strong administrative and academic backing. Excellent retention!
