Coverage Needed
- April 6, 2026 - Ongoing
- Schedule: 3 days per month (over 1 week period)
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch
- No Call
Clinical Details
- Location: Out-Patient Clinic
- Adults only
- 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology
- No procedural duties required
- Daily duties include seeing new patients needing chemotherapy and blood disorder management, formalizing plans per NCCN guidelines, placing orders, and managing reauthorizations
- Most common oncology cases: breast and colon
- Typical patient volume: 14-18 patients per day, with no more than 3 new patients each day
- Support Staff: 2 APPs, 1 Radiation Oncologist, and a dedicated RN
Requirements
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology; Hematology Oncology highly preferred
- Active OH License
- ACLS required if requesting Moderate Sedation privileges
- 1+ years of experience rounding on cancer patients in a medical oncology department
