• % of Practice: 50% Hematology / 50% Oncology
• Support Staff: Nurse Oncologist
• Skills/Procedures:
– Management of VAD/CV catheters
– Bone marrow biopsy
• Duties:
– Participation on a tumor board
– Management of bone marrow transplants
– Ordering labs/tests
– Blood bank involvement
– Ordering imaging
– Prescribing
– Administration of chemotherapy (physician + nurse oncologist)
• EMR: Epic
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
• Active IN License
• BC (Board certified in one specialty and demonstrated the competence in the other)
• BLS
