📝 Description
A fantastic locum outpatient Hematology/Oncology opportunity starting March 2026 – March 2027, offering consistent weekday hours, adult/geriatric patient care, and full travel reimbursement. Ideal for physicians seeking a stable, long-term assignment with excellent support and manageable patient volumes.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care (50% Heme / 50% Onc).
• Manage VAD/CV catheters and perform bone marrow biopsies.
• Participate in the Tumor Board.
• Manage bone marrow transplant-related care.
• Order tests, imaging, labs, and prescribe treatment plans.
• Oversee or administer chemotherapy (with nursing support).
Qualifications
• Board Certified (Hematology/Oncology).
• Active Indiana medical license (required).
• BLS certification.
• Must be comfortable with required procedures.
• Clean background preferred.
Working Hours
• Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekends
• No call
Skills
• Strong Hematology and Oncology clinical experience
• Proficiency with bone marrow procedures
• Ability to manage complex oncology cases
• EMR experience (EPIC preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork
