Job description
Locum-to-Perm Hematology/Oncology role starting March 2026. Outpatient-only position with adult/geriatric patient population. New service line coverage, no weekends, no call. Average 30 patients/day, EMR: EPIC.
Job Responsibilities
Perform bone marrow biopsies & manage VAD/CV catheters
Participate in tumor board
Oversee chemotherapy (with oncology nursing support)
Order labs, imaging, blood bank services, and prescribe treatments
Qualifications
Active Indiana Medical License – Required
BLS – Required
Clean malpractice preferred
Experience with adult/geriatric hem/onc cases
Working Hours
No weekends, no call
Skills
Bone marrow biopsy proficiency
VAD/CV catheter management
Strong outpatient patient-flow management
EPIC EMR proficiency
