Job description ### Hematology/Oncology Opening in Fort Smith, AR - Visa Eligible Located in Fort Smith, AR - Little Rock 125m, Oklahoma City 180m Full Time; Permanent Employed H1/J1 Visa Assistance ### Overview: * Seeking an additional Hematology/Oncology physician to join a busy, well-established practice. * Supported by two APRNs in the clinic who handle clinic visits and assist the physician. * One PA works exclusively in the hospital to assist with consults, rounding, and other supportive tasks. * The Cancer Center is conveniently located next to the 15-bed infusion center for easy access. * In-clinic lab and x-ray available. * Clinic is currently set up for bone marrow biopsies but can be adapted for additional physician-driven procedures. * Weekday call is 1:2. * No weekend call coverage required and no weekend rounding necessary. * Very few calls during the week. * The EHR is Epic. --- ### Facility Info: * A 492-bed hospital complete with an Intensive Care Unit, Outpatient Imaging, and Surgery Center. * Home to one of the busiest ERs in the state. * Offers a wide range of specialties including Cardiology, Neuro-Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, OBGYN, and a variety of Robotic Surgeries. * Accredited by the Joint Commission. * Continues to earn recognition for exceptional stroke and heart care by national agencies. --- ### Comp/Benefits Info: * Base Salary * RVU based bonus opportunity * Quality incentive bonus * Participation in a 403(b) qualified retirement plan and a 457 non-qualified retirement plan * Malpractice, CME, Licensure fees, etc. * Health, dental, life, disability, and other benefits that may be Employer/Employee split costs --- ### About the Area: Fort Smith, AR, with a population of around 89,000 residents, is a historic and welcoming community located along the Arkansas River in Sebastian County.
