We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Idaho. This opportunity begins Jan 12, 2026, with day shifts from 8:00a to 4:30p, Monday through Friday, and includes night and weekend call coverage when scheduled. The assignment takes place in a department with no APP supervision or admissions required. The ideal candidate should be interested in a potential permanent role and comfortable with unassigned rounding.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage inpatient care for hematology and oncology patients in a department
  • Perform unassigned rounding as needed
  • Provide night and weekend call coverage when scheduled
  • No admissions required
  • No APP supervision responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology required
  • Fellowship training required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Idaho state medical license required
  • Will consider candidates interested in a permanent role
  • Temporary credentialing available for expedited onboarding
