π₯ Setting: Outpatient Clinic + Infusion Center
π Schedule:
- MonβThurs: 7:30 AM β 5:30 PM + night call
- FriβSun: Remote 24-hr call coverage
- Call volume averages ~5 calls/day

π©Ί Clinical Scope
You will oversee all aspects of Hematology/Oncology patient care, including:
π¬ Responsibilities
- Diagnosis, staging, and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Symptom management and precision-based treatment planning
- Oversight of the outpatient Oncology clinic and Infusion Services
- Collaborating with ER physicians or hospitalists for any admissions
- No inpatient oncology program β all care is outpatient-driven
π Infusion Center Services Include
- Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy
- Blood & Platelet transfusions
- Hormone therapy
- Therapeutic phlebotomy
- Antibiotic therapy
- Rheumatology injections
No procedure requirements.
π₯ Support Structure
Youβll work with a warm, highly functioning team:
- 1 Clinic RN
- 2 MAs
- 2 Front office staff
- 1 Quality analyst/billing
- 3 Infusion RNs
- Long-term NP (MβF, 8β5) who assists with clinic and infusion coverage
π Patient Volumes
- 15β21 patients/day (shared between MD & NP)
- ~75% of visits assigned to the physician

- iKnowMed (Clinic)
- Cerner (Infusion)
π― Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology (preferred)
- Can also accept candidates boarded in Hematology OR Oncology
- Completed Medical Oncology Fellowship
- Active CA Medical License
- DEA, BLS, ACLS required
- Malpractice history strongly preferred
- Able to start credentialing within 3 days of offer acceptance
- Local candidates preferred (no air travel needed)
