Schedule: M-Th 7:30AM-5:30PM with night call then 24hr remote call coverage Fri-Sun

Job Responsibilities
Duties: All aspects of Diagnosis, Staging, Precision Medicine, symptom management, and Treatment of Hematology/ Oncology Patients. MD oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services. Infusion Center requires MD onsite for all treatments. Infusion Center provides Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Blood/Platelet transfusions, Hormone therapy, Antibiotic Therapy, Rheumatoid Arthritis injections, and Therapeutic Phlebotomies.
Required Procedures: N/A.
EMR: iKnowmed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
Support Staff: 1- clinic RN, 2-MAs, 2-front office clerks, 1-quality analyst/billing, and 3 infusions RNs. Currently have a long-term NP who works the M-F 8-5. NP covers any infusions on Fridays and the occasional Friday appt.
Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:
Average daily census: 15-21 patients Mon-Thurs shared between the MD and NP with 3/4 of appointments going on the MD schedule.
Current call coverage: 24/7 each week with around 5 calls per day
Qualifications
Board Certification – Oncology AND Hematology preferred. Will consider Board Eligible. CAN accept providers boarded in Oncology OR Hematology. [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
State License – [REQUIRED]
Residency Requirements/Fellowship – Medical Oncology Fellowship - [REQUIRED]
CA DEA, BLS, ACLS - [REQUIRED]
