Schedule:
- Mon–Thurs: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM + night call
- Fri–Sun: 24-hour remote call coverage
- Calls average - 5 per day
- No hospital consults; coordination only as needed with ER/hospitalists
- No required procedures
Clinical Responsibilities:

Full scope of hematology and oncology care, including diagnosis, staging, treatment planning, symptom management, and precision medicine.

MD oversight of the outpatient Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Center.

On-site presence required for all Infusion Center treatments, including:
-
Chemotherapy, immunotherapy
-
Blood/platelet transfusions
-
Hormone therapy
-
Antibiotic therapy
-
Rheumatoid arthritis injections
-
Therapeutic phlebotomies
-

Collaborate with an NP who assists with patient flow and Friday infusion coverage.

Average daily census: 15–21 patients (¾ on MD schedule).
Requirements:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Oncology & Hematology - Required
- Active CA License (required)
- Medical Oncology Fellowship (required)
- CA DEA, BLS, ACLS (required)
