Job description
Seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to provide outpatient oncology care, oversee infusion services, and participate in remote call coverage. No inpatient consults required.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee outpatient clinic and infusion treatments.
Supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, and related therapies.
Collaborate with midlevel providers and support staff.
Provide night call Mon–Thurs and 24-hour remote call Fri–Sun.
Qualifications
Active state medical license.
Medical Oncology fellowship required.
CA DEA, BLS, ACLS required.
Must be clinically available at name clear.
Malpractice coverage preferred.
Working Hours
Fri–Sun: 24-hour remote call
Coverage dates: Dec 1–21 (additional 2026 gaps possible)
Skills
Strong infusion therapy oversight skills.
Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting.
EMR proficiency (iKnowmed, Cerner).
Strong communication and patient-care coordination.
