Locum-to-Perm – Hematology/Oncology – Lewiston, Idaho

Start Date: January 12, 2026 Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Clinic hours: 8:00am–4:30pm

• Telephone call: very limited

• Call ratio: 1:3

• 30-minute call response time required

Position Overview: This locum-to-perm Hematology/Oncology role consists primarily of outpatient clinic responsibilities with consult support for hospitalized patients. Hospitalists admit patients when needed, and Hem/Onc provides consultations only. The practice offers full multidisciplinary support, including onsite infusion, radiation oncology, surgery, IR, and laboratory services.

Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities:

• Clinic patients per day: 15–20

• Infusion center volume: 45 patients seen through infusion center daily

• NP sees patients every other visit and manages established treatment; MD handles new patients

• Phone consults: 1

• Unassigned patient management as required

Facility Details:

• 20-bed facility

• Clinic staffed with OCN nurses

• Onsite radiation oncology, surgery, IR, and lab

• Trauma Level III

• Hospital Stroke Certified

• EMR: Mosaiq

• Multiple providers accepted

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine – Hematology and Oncology

• Active Idaho license or IMLC accepted

• Fellowship required

• BLS required
