- Job Title: Hematology/Oncology Physician
- Job Type: Locum Tenens (Locums to Perm)
- Location: Lawton, OK
- Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic with hospital consults
- Coverage Type: Clinical + Optional Call
- Coverage Period: 11/17/2025 Ongoing
- Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00a 4:30p (34 days onsite; telehealth on off weeks)
- On-Call Shift Schedule: Optional COVERAGE DATES
- Start Date: 11/17/2025
- Duration: 52 weeks
- Ongoing assignment with potential for permanent placement
PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Adults, Geriatrics (18+ years)
- Patient Volume/Census: 1215 patients per day
- Admissions: Minimal rounding at hospital
- Rounding: Included (minimal)
- Phone Consults: Yes
- Case Mix: Hematology/Oncology (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy, infusions; no BMT, no acute leukemias)

- Specialty Backup Available: Hospital consult support
- Support Staff Available: Nursing and administrative support

- Credentialing Timeline: Expedited client committed to 2448 hour turnaround

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Oklahoma medical license required at submission
- Board: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- DEA: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS required, Oklahoma CSR required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
- Other Qualifications: Must have clean background; proficiency with Mosaiq EMR preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care across multiple clinic sites
- Perform hospital consults with minimal rounding responsibilities
- Manage treatment plans including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
- Utilize EMR system Mosaiq for documentation and patient management
- Collaborate with clinical team to ensure continuity of care
