Locums – Hematology/Oncology – Richmond, Virginia Urgent Need Coverage: January 19 - 30, 2026 Also need coverage for February - mid-August Schedule & Shift Details:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
- Coverage primarily inpatient, some outpatient during physician vacation
- Oversight of a nurse practitioner
- Willingness to enroll patients in research studies
- Call Coverage
- Average hospital patients per day: 12–15
- Adult patient population
- Inpatient oncology and hematology care
- Outpatient coverage as needed for physician vacation
- Collaboration with practice staff and oversight of NP
- Practice Setting: Inpatient with some outpatient coverage
- Number of Physicians: 2
- EMR: EPIC
- Patient Population: Adult
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Virginia license required
- BLS certification required
- Provider must be local
