Job description
We are actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our state-of-the-art Cancer Center in Anderson, SC. This is an ideal opportunity for a physician seeking to lead a growing practice with robust support, advanced resources, and a patient-centered culture.
Responsibilities:

Outpatient cancer care (15–25 patients/day) and occasional hospital rounds (very few)

Cover practice call and inpatient oncology patients (no weekends)

Participate in shared leadership and practice development during rebuilding phase

Utilize Epic EMR for documentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiation oncology, pharmacy, lab, and supportive services

Access nationwide clinical trials via UC-NCORP
-
Provide high-quality, patient-centered oncology care in a family-oriented community
Practice Highlights:

Trauma Level 2 hospital
-
Commission on Cancer-accredited since 1984

On-site Radiation Oncology department and 24-bay infusion suite with pharmacist

Laboratory services on-site

Approximately 1,200 new cancer cases per year

Supportive leadership and collegial medical staff
Schedule:
-
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (slight variations possible)

Minimum 32 patient-contact hours/week

First physician onsite majority of the time until second provider hired
Ideal Candidate:

Board Certified preferred due to practice complexity

BE candidates within 5 years of eligibility considered

Residency required in the immediate local area (relocation assistance available)

Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates

No commuters or secondary employment
