  • Provide vital hematology and oncology care in a busy, well-established outpatient practice with strong APP and office support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cancer treatment in a modern clinic setting.
  • Ideal for a board-certified oncologist seeking consistent scheduling and a six-month commitment in a reputable facility.
Assignment Details Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Setting: Outpatient Start: January 1, 2026 End: July 1, 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3–5 days per week Patient Volume: 15–18 per day Call: Beeper call, approximately 10 calls per 24 hours; rare call-backs Rounding: 5 patients daily Supervision: Works alongside an NP; no supervisory duties required Credentialing: 8 weeks with clean record (up to 90 days if issues) EMR: OncoEMR (Clinic), Cerner (Hospital) Clinical Details Manage both hematology and oncology patients in a comprehensive outpatient setting. Participate in limited rounding and after-hours phone call coverage. Collaborate closely with APPs and office staff to maintain continuity of care. Provide compassionate, evidence-based cancer treatment aligned with facility protocols. Requirements Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology Active Massachusetts medical license BLS certification Ability to commit to at least six months of coverage Clean record preferred for credentialing Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
